Wait, are you saying that this site is a scam? I have been paid from them several times and they seem to be quite reputable. Of course, I haven't received any surveys from them recently.

I think what is being referred to here, is a particular scam using this company's name. American Consumer is a legitimate company. But some bogus creep is asking you send money to him/her by using this companies name.
