Vindale Reserch - SCAM E-mail

Is Vandale Research a scam? In my opinion, YES, they are absolutely a SCAM, here is why:

I signed up with them, just wanted to know the truth, here is what I found out and why I say they are scam:

1. One of the surveys available for me right after I sign up is their "Accelerated Training Tutorial" - which pay $5.00. Yes, you go through this training and get $5.00 credit in your account, sounds great? until you read this: the training is actually let me go through the sign up process with eFax 30-day FREE trial (is this trail sounds familiar to you? of course I am not stupid) then do their so called follow up survey (apparently the "survey" is just a bogus survey from Vandale.).

OKEY, I don't need go on anymore - It is very clear to me that this is NOT a Paid survey, this is actually a Paid  offer.

2. They have a high payout requirement of $50 - you have to accumulate $50 to request payment. This is red flag for me. Real legit marketing research companies have low payout requirement or none. such as NFO ($10), SurveySavvy ($0), Greenfield ($0), Lightspeed ($10).....

3. I also did a little research on web, and found out that people are talking about having to Pay upfront fee (give out credit card numbers) to evaluate a product and do "surveys" - this is make it even more evident that Vandale Research is NOT a legit paid survey/marketing research company - REAL paid survey/Marketing Research companies NEVER ask you to pay for anything such as the product you are suppose to test/evulate to give your opinion, it is ALWAYS FREE to do real legit paid surveys.

So what are they?

Vandale is  a Paid To Do offers site, NOT a legit Paid Survey/Marketing research company.  You get paid for signing up offers, just like many other Paid Offer sites.

Should I sign up with them?
I have heard people getting paid by them, but many have issues with them such as not getting credit. Sign up with them or not is up to you. The point is do you want to spend time on them knowing that there is a possibility that you will not get paid? The sad thing is many GPT beginners don't even know about this possibility, and they are easily fooled by sites like Vandale research.

Personally I hate those crooks, they are getting smarter and using more creative dirty tricks. What they are doing is deceiving and unethical, and they should be put out of business.

VERY IMMPORTANT  - Popular Science promoted them unbelivble   |2009-09-17 00:52:32
OH MAN! Popular Science in August 09 issue recommended them as a way to make money in these hard times.

So I belived everything they said and provided all my info used real name as i wanted to be able to cash the Checks, was not sure if using a alias would work when I took checks to bank to cash.

Oh, and I was getting a creepy feeling when they asked me to sighn up for BLOCKBUSTER and to stay with them for 20 days minimum and if I like them to stay as a paying member. And they offered me too little money to make it worth all the hastle it was $20 bucks, but that gives the my credit card info and I subtract the subscrption price.

One has to be seriously demented to do this survey. And now thanks to you Gods Angels hear, I am 100% sure its a SCAM. And Popular Science a Legit Magazine should be held accountable for this.

I am thinking about calling the Magazine to let them know how much of my time they wasted, and that they got my identity and private info into the hands of a S...

I agree with most of the other people,it is a scam.I signed up with them, and when they asked for credit card info & to purchase a service or product to be able to continue to the BIG MONEY I cancelled and dropped them like a bad habit.I'm glad this site(my survey 123)exists to steer me away from pigs like this.Vindale was a big waste of my time but that was all I wasted.
Virginia  - Yup I agree   |2009-04-10 16:43:13
I saw right away that the tutorial scan would end up charging me for a credit report every month. This is no Paid survey. If you come to Snoped like I did for the truth, this is it, Vindale is a scam.

TOTALLY agree!! I found out with my first survey that these people are all about selling! Unsubscribed ASAP! There are several sites out there that are all about this! What a shame-why can't they just be upfront?? Go to Lightspeed and do their surveys-they pay out with points that are easily accumulated, and they give great gifts! That\'s my fave!

Hi Joyce,

You are right - they are not upfront and honest their business.

I am glad you find the info helpful!

Thank you for the heads up about Vindale. I noticed that when I opened their email, I was told I would need my CC. That's a bad sign.

ACK! HAVE NOT offended you.
Chelle   |2007-09-04 14:11:25
I agree with you 100%, I came to this conclusion last week and have written basicly the same thing myself!

I do want to point out though that although not technicaly a paid survey site, Bzzzagent does sometimes ask you to pay a small portion of a product you will be testing. I know this is NOT a Paid Survey site, but its one that most folks sign up for. and its MUCH better than PTC or PTR IMO. at least you do get free stuff, and points to redeem.

Anyway, Thank you for all your hard work and I hope I have offended you, you are a wonderful help!!
