Vindale Reserch - SCAM E-mail

Is Vandale Research a scam? In my opinion, YES, they are absolutely a SCAM, here is why:

I signed up with them, just wanted to know the truth, here is what I found out and why I say they are scam:

1. One of the surveys available for me right after I signed up is their "Accelerated Training Tutorial" - which pays $5.00. Yes, you go through this training and get $5.00 credit in your account, sounds great? until you read this: the training is actually asking me go through the sign up process with eFax's 30-day FREE trial (is this trail sounds familiar to you? of course I am not stupid) then do their so called follow up survey (apparently the "survey" is just a bogus survey from Vindale.).

OKEY, I don't need to go on anymore - It is very clear to me that this is NOT a Paid Survey, this is actually a Paid  offer.

2. They have a high payout requirement of $50 - you have to accumulate $50 to request payment. This is red flag for me. Real legit marketing research companies have low payout requirement or none. such as NFO ($10), SurveySavvy ($0), Greenfield ($0), Lightspeed ($10).....

3. I also did a little research on web, and found out that people are talking about having to pay upfront fee (give out credit card numbers) to evaluate a product and do "surveys" - this makes it even more evident that Vindale Research is NOT a legit paid survey/marketing research company - REAL paid survey/Marketing Research companies NEVER ask you to pay for anything such as the product you are suppose to test/evaluate to give your opinion, it is ALWAYS FREE to do product testing and give your opinion on the products you tested by taking the follow up survey about the products.

So what are they?

Vindale is  a Paid To Do offers site, NOT a legit Paid Survey/Marketing research site/company.  You get paid for signing up offers, just like many other Paid Offer sites.

Should I sign up with them?
I have heard people getting paid by them, but many have issues with them such as not getting credit. Signing up with them or not is up to you. The point is do you want to spend time on them knowing that there is a possibility that you will not get paid? The sad thing is many GPT beginners don't even know about this possibility, and they are easily fooled by sites like Vindale research.

Those days crooks and scammers like Vinale are getting smarter and using more creative dirty tricks. What they are doing is deceiving and unethical, and they should be put out of business.

I haven't really found any sites that are truly surveys except for Survey Head. I have not been paid yet and am waiting for confirmation on some surveys. I will write back once I know how that turns out

Quoting Roblee:
Yes they do but so doesn't Panda, Mindspay, and many others. If you go into Studies you will find the "surveys" you're looking for.

Panda and Mindspay are not real survey sites either. My point is they are not honest and upfront about those so called "evaluation" are actually not real market research surveys - those are paid offers. I understand they might have those low paying "daily surveys" but that's not what I am talking about.

I hate to disappoint you all but I have been paid from Vindale. i hit the $50.00 threshold in a short time and was paid via Paypal with no issues. They do send you emails daily of new surveys/studies that you can qualify for. The do offer more than a paid offer site you just have to go in their site and look for it. Good Luck to you all.

Took me a year, but I finally made it to their min. $50 payout. Only took 5 biz days to receive the PayPal deposit, though. But what it takes in time vs reward, it's not worth an atom of energy. You have been warned.

#21 American Consumer Survey ScamTess 2011-02-19 00:37
 I hooked up with American Consumer Survey about 3 years ago & ALL they promise is that they will put you in their contests for money & they say that they will pay you for surveys, but what they do is send out small PRE-surveys which are actually the surveys they want you to do...& then tell you that if you are picked based on you pre-survey choices they will pay you for doing the actual survey. Thing is since you took the mini survey there is never an actual survey to do! But they will never tell you that & will never pay you & will never stop sending you emails. I unenrolled a year ago & am still getting surveys many times each week dispite them sending emails saying that if I don't participate I will no longer receive emails!

#17 Popular Science promoted them unbelivbleVERY IMMPORTANT 2009-09-17 03:52
OH MAN! Popular Science in August 09 issue recommended them as a way to make money in these hard times.

So I belived everything they said and provided all my info used real name as i wanted to be able to cash the Checks, was not sure if using a alias would work when I took checks to bank to cash.

Oh, and I was getting a creepy feeling when they asked me to sighn up for BLOCKBUSTER and to stay with them for 20 days minimum and if I like them to stay as a paying member. And they offered me too little money to make it worth all the hastle it was $20 bucks, but that gives the my credit card info and I subtract the subscrption price.

One has to be seriously demented to do this survey. And now thanks to you Gods Angels hear, I am 100% sure its a SCAM. And Popular Science a Legit Magazine should be held accountable for this.

I am thinking about calling the Magazine to let them know how much of my time they wasted, and that they got my identity and private info into the hands of a SCAM company.

I am one of the wisest smartest person, but with Popular Science recommending them, I let my guard down, so what is happening to all my fellow Mankind???

I agree with most of the other people,it is a scam.I signed up with them, and when they asked for credit card info & to purchase a service or product to be able to continue to the BIG MONEY I cancelled and dropped them like a bad habit.I'm glad this site(my survey 123)exists to steer me away from pigs like this.Vindale was a big waste of my time but that was all I wasted. :woohoo:

#15 Yup I agreeVirginia 2009-04-10 19:43
 I saw right away that the tutorial scan would end up charging me for a credit report every month. This is no Paid survey. If you come to Snoped like I did for the truth, this is it, Vindale is a scam.

TOTALLY agree!! I found out with my first survey that these people are all about selling! Unsubscribed ASAP! There are several sites out there that are all about this! What a shame-why can't they just be upfront?? Go to Lightspeed and do their surveys-they pay out with points that are easily accumulated, and they give great gifts! That\'s my fave!

I agree with you 100%, I came to this conclusion last week and have written basicly the same thing myself!

I do want to point out though that although not technicaly a paid survey site, Bzzzagent does sometimes ask you to pay a small portion of a product you will be testing. I know this is NOT a Paid Survey site, but its one that most folks sign up for. and its MUCH better than PTC or PTR IMO. at least you do get free stuff, and points to redeem.

Anyway, Thank you for all your hard work and I hope I have offended you, you are a wonderful help!!
