Re:Pinecone Research 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Just wondering has anybody else received a sweepstakes only survey from Pinecone lately? I got one a couple of days ago. I was like hmmm, this is a surprise! After thinking about it for a while, I decided to take the survey. It was short survey though.

I am also wondering why are they doing this? Are they "testing" members to see how many would respond or are they weeding old members?

I have signed up with Pinecone and emailed them. Is it possible that they just don't want me to be a member of their panel? I thought I'd signed up a while ago, but I have never received a survey from them, and I spontaneously tried to sign up with them this week with no problem. Anyway, they haven't contacted me since with a confirmation email with my account info or anything. Why are they M.I.A. when it comes to contact with me?

I honestly don't know the answer islandonthemoon. Are you the primary grocery shopper in your household? I am asking because most of their surveys seem are related to everyday household food and products. Also have you checked your spam folder?

I know Pinecone is a good survey site, but since the payout drops to only $3.00 per survey for new members, it is not as attractive as it used to be. It really won't affect your overall survey earnings that much, considering members only get average 1-2 surveys/month.

Dang, I didn't even think about the spam folder, Mei! I'll try that. As for the survey frequency, that's okay, I take every opportunity I can and it really adds up. Hopefully I have something in the spam, or get an inbox message soon. Thanks!

Hmm, pretty soon everyone just going to earn $3.00 for each survey, plus sweepstakes for "household" questions, even you are the "early" members of Pinecone.

Just got an email from Pinecone Research asking me if I opt to join the new "Cash Plus panel" (I think that's the name), which will pay $3.00 for each survey, and a entry for household surveys. I said yes, since basically that's the only choice if you want to continue to received surveys from Pinecone.
