I don't know Jeff,, maybe they have to reduce cost...Well I just received $5.00 from them for the survey I took yesterday. I only get like 1-2 surveys every month, so that's not a big difference.

does pinecone research have a referal system

i dont think they pay for referrals, im not positive though - Mei might know...it used to be very hard to sign up with them because you had to find one of their banners..

Well, just completed the first paying survey ($3.00) for Pinecone since the pay reduction. It took less than 10 minutes - I probably can get it done in 5 minutes since I was watching Olympic and checking something..Might get a product to test.

Wish still get paid $5.00 though..

By the way, it seems Pinecone has closed sign up for all countries.

Pinecone Research US is accepeting new members now who are Spanish or Hispanic descent. Sign up link is at the first post.

Note: If you are NOT Hispanic descent, it doesn't hurt to sign up anyway, since sometimes they will accept non-targeted sign ups.

I am so frustrated with Pinecone. I signed up with them a little over a month ago. And two days ago, I was dropped from the panel.

"Periodically we have found it necessary to refresh the composition of our research panel in order to stay current with changes in the general population and to provide clients with the broadest possible spectrum of
consumer opinions. In doing so, on occasion we have had to discontinue the membership of some of our panelists."

I was in the middle of doing a home study for them too! Trying to get them to respond to emails is like pulling teeth. I don't understand why they act so high and mighty with their panelists. They aren't a bad survey company but there are others out there that are much better.
