Your 2 Cents was bought by Toluna in 2009. (You can read Toluna Survey Panel Review Here). Compensation
Instant Winner amounts and bonus rewards are awarded in point values where 3,000 points = $1. Points automatically convert to cash values whenever you request a check. You can request a check when you have reached a minimum account balance of $10, or 30,000 points. Age Requirement 18 year and older Open to Countries United States, Canada My Experience I have been a member of Your 2 Cents for over two years. At first, I didn't receive too many surveys. However, starting last year (2006), I have received about 2-3 surveys per month consistently, and some are product testing surveys. For every survey I qualify and complete, I receive cash reward. I qualify about half of their surveys, and cash out reward regularly. Your2cents website also have greatly improved since 2006, where you can see your survey history and payment history. Payment (check) usually arrive 2 - 3 months after payout request. Overall, Your 2 Cents is a good paid survey site, I recommend it. |

Also, it is completely common place for points to literally disappear. There are much better survey sites (albeit only a handful left). There's no point in wasting time with a company like this.
i am so happy with toluna i had many successful surveys with them per day and sometimes 2 or 3 a day and it really adds up fas t and make fairly good month with them
i have been booted out of lots of surveys but it was able to find me a survey that i have been successful at i wish it did not take 6 weeks for my account to be credited
at toluna ihave made about 100 dollars at toluna once and loved that afew surveys where not paid they where for a sweeps takes only and i feel like i dont like them surveys my time is more valuablethat that
i will stay with toluna for long time and hope they do not go out of business
i started with them when they were called your 2 cents i think they are great survey site
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with "Give Us Your Two Cents" which as Mei stated is sweeps only. I think this is why "Your Two Cents" changed to Toluna in the first place. Many people incl. me have experienced what you did: Completing an entire survey, being asked about demographics and being told you don't qualify. OTX is one that has done this too. FYI, there are really good Hispanic only panels listed on this site. I'm lucky enough to have some latin lineage too so I'm on 4 or 5 Hispanic panels.
Also, just let you know, "Give Us Your 2 Cents" is one of those "DAILY Surveys" where you should take at one of those incentive sites so you get paid for taking their surveys otherwise you will just get a sweepstake entry.
I am a complete newbie to taking surveys online. Recently I read a post where someone complained about a different survey company. Personally, I did not pay too much mind as I completely understand that survey companies are not intentionally holding anything against a person, it is just that the number of responses capped either the region and or ethinicity quotas for that particular survey. Ok so no problem.
But today, I am completely appalled at what just occurred by a survey participation with Give us your 2cents. I am Puerto Rican born and raised in Chicago Illinois, whereas never in my wildest dreams ever felt like anyone has ever discriminated against me ever in my over 40 years alive. However, I just "completed" a survey regarding a topic true and dear to me, which lasted about 35 minutes. I received the message Thank you for your participation and valued time, now we have a few more questions for classification purposes. I immediately received the question as to what is my zip code, so I entered it, then it asked me which do you consider yourself to be, so naturally I would honestly say I am Hispanic. Immediately following after I get completely closed out of the survey with an immediate message that said we are sorry but you do not qualify for this particular survey. Excuse me[/b], the entire survey was completed and I received the Thank after it was done!!
Am I to assume that the survey panel did not realized in the beginning when I filled in my information that I was Hispanic. It is not in my nature to ever proclaim to be discriminated ever in my lifetime. As I had stated I was born and raised in the US, which although Hispanic, my ethnicity is automatically citizens whether born in US or Puerto Rico. Why would I assume I was not credited for the entire survey if that last classification question did not immediately boot me out, asking if I wanted to take another survey.
NO, I do not want to give you credit and get paid for my intellectual opinions while I have to sit here and wonder if you didn't like my ethnicity. Unbelievable the .50cents that the survey was offering is ridiculous.
I am a person who has no problem voicing her appropriate opinions when I like or dislike something and I wish nothing but success to a company who manipulates and acts deceitful to a person as they will get paid for my responses and I get left with never ever to return with a sour opinion of their company.
My suggestion when you see them on your computer screen run, look the other way and x them out the way they did me, as an excuse not to pay for my opinion.
Toluna is such a Rip Off.
You sit there and complete surveys for them.
I mean you get all the way to the end of
a survey for which you sat there and spent 30 minutes of your time and they
either give you a screen that says
the Quota has been filled , or you don't qualify.
Anything they can do, to NOT pay you
for your VALUABLE time.
If you write Toluna Customer Support, your letters go out into the ether net somewhere, b/c you won't get a response.
I can't believe this company is still in business .
I cannot believe the Better Business Bureau has not pressed charges against Toluna for
fraudulent business practices!
Please save yourself your precious time
and skip this Survey Company!
I stopped doing surveys for them when survey after survey I
Yeah, that's the number I called. But the funny thing is the same day I called I ended up receiving my January check two weeks early. So since I received two checks in September for the same payment, I'm going to let my December check go since I received the January check early. So, so far I have received every check since I joined with them. A bit confusing sometimes, but they have arrived. Although I did like it better when they were Your2Cents... it seems like they cared about their members more.
I've received paper surveys in the mail with cash enclosed from Home Testing Institute but not Toluna. I usually fill them out and mail them back. I've rec'd 1 or 2 that enclosed $1 for something that would take over 30 minutes. I didn't bother doing it.
I called their 800 number twice (found on their FAQ page) and asked about my check, and both times they said it was mailed on the 21st of September. I already told them I waited 8 weeks for it, and would I have to wait another 8 weeks. I'm giving them until the end of the month, and if I don't receive it, I'll probably just cancel the membership and stick with programs that do work. Do you still work on surveys or just decided to keep the membership?
The only thing I don't like is that sometimes I have to answer for several minutes only to find out that I don't qualify.
Please understand this is normal - a survey site has to determine if you qualify for the survey or not. So getting a survey invite doesn't mean you will always be able to take the survey. It is not a scam. Your2cents is a legitimate survey site, I have been paid by them several times.. Please be patient with surveys, otherwise you won't think it's a fit for you.
I qualify for about 1 survey a month.
I just cashed out for the first time.
I have never had problems getting paid by them..However, It does takes pretty long time - about 2 or 3 months..I would suggest you follow up with the and keep "bugging" them, sending another and more emails..
Good luck and hope you get your check soon!
