eJury is a online virtual Jury site. Its mock juries and focus groups provides attorneys the opportunity to learn what others think about their cases.  eJury functions much like a traditional "live" mock jury or focus group except that the jurors (or eJurors) participate via the Internet. 

To sign up as a ejoror, one must meet following qualifications:

  • be at least 18 years of age;
  • be a citizen of the United States;
  • be of sound mind and good moral character;
  • be able to read and write;
  • have never been convicted of a felony; and

  • not be under indictment or other legal accusation of misdemeanor theft or felony theft or any felony charge.



I have signed up with them, but never heard from them, therefore I can't give my rating.  However, I have heard other people "served" as jurors for them and have great feedback.  If you have any experience, please rate and review eJury!

Update - I think I did 1-2 mock juries this year. About the same as it was in 2010. It's totally different from doing surveys. I have no problems with the company.

I signed up about a month ago and have responded to two trials. It took about 10 min; each and I have been paid $5.00 each time to a pay pal account

I agree, I emailed them to ask for an alternate method of registration and here is their is below. Does anyone know if they are really legitimate or a scam?

eJury selects their panelists in relation to the case being tried. If you live in a rather remote area, as I do, where there probably aren't hundreds of panelists signed up, the chance of getting picked is fairly good. I've done two cases in the last few months. Each was similar yet with vastly different circumstances. I don't imagine they want to send the same type cases over and over to the same panelist. They'd wind up being cookie cutter verdicts.

The time I spent on the cases was probably a lot more than they expect a panelist to spend, but I like to be thorough and analytical. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't mind benefiting less than $2 for each hour I spent debating it. There are many other survey sites out there that think your time is worth nothing or hardly anything. eJury pays promptly by PayPal.

I hope I get another case soon!

I did a mock jury. And they paid me through paypal in less than 2 weeks.
