Hi;
Your site has been so great! I have been using it to sign up and learn about different sites beforehand. I just wanted to share an expereince. I was asked by a survey site to sign up for Vindale Research and I would get cash credited to my account for completeing the free offer. I did this. My experience with Vindale has been poor. They send you surveys to earn money but you have to buy/sign up for a product and evaluate it -all of mine indicated a credit card was required. Then if you do so they give you money --most of the time very little over the cost of obtaining the product/service. It seems like a scam to get people to purchase items they would not otherwise purchase. Plus afterwards you have to go back and cancel services or future shipments of the product in order to not continue the billing -a time consuming pain to do. Hope this saves others from wasted time with this site.

I just wanted to let you know that when my husband( an IT professional) went to sign up for the TechnologyBoard it stated that its certificate was a stolen one. So it is an illegal website. I just thought I would pass that along.

Hi Kristy,
Thank you for passing this along.

However, Technology Board is a panel run by the same company (Decision Analyst) who run ACOP(American Consumer Opinion). I have been paid by them and I am certain they are legit.

Sorry but I think their security certificate probably is not a stole one, it might be just expired.

Of course it\'s up to you/your husband to decide to sign up or not.

Some very good IT panels I suggest your husband sign up (all on my list)

SurveySavvy
Tech Panel (run by Lightspeed)
Tech Say (run by GlobalTestMarket)

Best regards,

Hi;
I noticed Cash Crate and Quizpoints have many survey companies that you can sign up for as free offers. Some of them you do not have listed anywhere. Is that because they are not worth signing up for? Just wondering since I use your sight as a judgement tool on whether a company will be a good survey site or not.

Hi Angela,

You are right. Majority of the free survey offers from Crash Crate and Quizpoints are not real paid survey sites in my opinion - they are emial harvesting sites that use your email address (and other personal info you provide to them) to send you spam emails or mails.

One thing you can do to figure this out is check Privacy Policy, and you will know what I mean.

Thanks for askingthe questions! - It\'s a good question.

You are welcome! I am glad it\'s helpful.:)

Regarding tiktik cash, I would NOT sign up with them and would NOT recommend them to anyone at all! They have a high payout requirement of $100. That is definitely a red flag.

I think you are probably right, they are just another Panda.

Do you have an information of homesurveyworkers.com? The fee is 2.95b plus another 1x fee of 39.95. They promise $10 or $20 a survey with a potential of 8 a day for 6 figs a year.
I am going thru your list of free sign ups and have registered with a dozen. Has anyone had success with paying this webistes fees and getting much back in return.

Hi Laure,

I went to the site but seems the site is down at this moment. I will take a look later.

However, based on information you provide, I would suggest NOT register/pay them the fee. I am pretty sure that they are just another \"membership\" site that charge you for a list of paid survey sites (and possible junk spam and scam sites).

6 fig a year? No kidding! :zzz

Thanks for the url. and Yes, that is AMP Survey. I have heard about this site. I am not introducing them because I was concerned about their privacy policy, and last night I checked them again and I think you won't get paid, they just give you a entry for sweepstakes.
Do you know if the site surveyhead.com is legitimate? They are the original owners of GoZing (which I know is legit), and are converting focusline.com members over. They offer $5 for signup. Because the site is new, I am a little leary of them.

This site is very well put together. The top 20 on your list are my favorites! I have found quite a few here I didn\'t know about, and others I have wanted to try. Thanks so much for the information, Mei!

I believe Surveyhead is legit, even though I just joined and have not been paid yet. I used to do LOT of surveys for GoZing, and have always been paid! So I am very confident (almost certain) I will get paid by surveyhead. I am aware that they are converting focusline members. If you join them now(via my site here), you will get sign up $5.00 too.

Thanks for your comment and I am glad you like my site. Hope to talk to you again!

You are welcome! Actually it\'s very easy and safe to open a Paypal account. I would suggest you go to paypal.com and take a look. I think there are some survey sites only pay via Paypal.

Most (almost all) of the paid survey/market research companies listed here pay cash or gift certificates. :)

Paid surveys is a great way to make extra cash, you can just do it after work at night while watching tv. :cheer:

I almost gave up on Survey Spot because I was only getting non-paying surveys. But I kept doing them and then all of sudden they started rolling in. Online focus groups for $20-$30 for an hours time, paid surveys between $1-$5 (sometimes a few a day) and products for testing. My teenager gets lots of paid surveys. It\'s not always like this but I make money at least once a week.

However, they only have limited number of surveys (like 2 -3 surveys/year), so if you don\'t feel comfortable giving your SSN, there isn\'t much to lose.

Hi Betty, I am not sure what\'s wrong with SurveyExchange. It seems they have a new system which is not working (couldn\'t register), and I tried to login and they said they can\'t find my user name! :( This is not the first time that SurveyExchange has this kind of problem - last time they changed their company name (I couldn\'t remember their old name) and they lost some old member\'s accounts. Now this time they lost mine. I couldn\'t remember how much I have left in my account but I am sure it\'s less than minimum payout.

Hi Betty, I registered with them over almost 4 years ago - I don\'t remember installing any software (maybe I did but I couldn\'t remember). I don\'t receive many surveys from them - maybe because I didn\'t install their software?? :0 Anyway I haven\'t heard anyone complaining about their software, but if you don\'t feel comfortable about installing it, I would suggest just skip them.

Hey all....I have never installed the opinion square software but I still get plenty of surveys from them.
I really like them because even if you dont qualify they have a little game, which is typically worth 25 points.

You can make nothing after joining zillon surveys if you only joined junk survey sites. The ones on this lists are the real legit ones that actually pay.

I noticed one survey company said when you accumulate 1,000 points, they will then send you a check.
My question is, how many points do I get to complete EACH SURVEY?

Hi, just wanted to warn you that you might want to consider taking Opinion Bar off the list. I signed up with them, tried to take a survey, but my security settings told me that the network they are on is not secure. I did further research and found that other people were having similar issues as well as problems with payment. They might be legit, but it seems as though they have been hacked. At any rate, I don\'t think it\'s safe to use at this time.

With Opinion Bar, you rate other sites and as part of the surveys you will be redirected to the site you are evaluating in a new window.
So, I think they will never be able to say they are 100% secure because they can\'t guarantee that the partner sites they are having you evaluate would be secure, that would be up to that company having the research done.

A focus group is an in-person discussion and interview of participants. The groups generally consist of several people and a moderator who\'s job is to ask questions and get feedback. Sessions are usually 1-2 hours long but some can be all day. They pay between $50-$400 depending on subject, time, etc. You might have to try a new food a company is thinking of launching so you and others will sit there, eat, and talk in a room with a 2-way mirror. Shy is not an asset :) You may have to pick up a product, use it at home for awhile, keep a journal and then come back for the focus group. Some companies are region specific so in addition to the nationwide ones that Mlynn has listed, look for local offices in your area.
Hi, I\'m sort of new to this and was wondering does these surveys get to your 1040??
This is one of those questions that needs to be prefaced with \"Check with your accountant\" (as if we all have one). This is my opinion for what it\'s worth: The short answer is NO. My understanding is that you are considered an independent contractor and thus your income is not taxed. If you\'re paid at least $600 by any one company, you should receive a 1099 form from that company. With one or two exceptions your ss# is never known so there isn\'t a direct link to your earnings. I\'m sure many people report this income in good faith but I\'m also sure many do not.

Signed up with CashCrate today. Yes you are flooded with offers, but can choose to do the surveys. You can earn 80 cents per survey and take 2 surveys in 24 hrs. They even have bonus surveys worth 75 cents. There is a catch however. First you have to qualify for a survey, then, if you qualify and take the survey, you have to see if you indeed qualified to earn the 80 or 75 cents. If not they invite you to continue until you do qualify. I completed 5 long surveys and never qualified for the 80 or 75 cents. A lot of time wasted, so gave up and cancelled my membership on same day I signed up.
Hello,
I just got laid off from work n unemployment doesnt nearly cover expenses. I have a 11 mth old so it\'s easier for me to work at home if possible. Please let me know which sites worked for some of you.
Some of these sites are exclusive to Moms with young children. Also sign up for focus groups because they sometimes want you to bring your kids in to try a new toy or food and they\'ll pay well for your time. Also, don\'t forget to visit the freebie sites and word of mouth sites for tons of free samples. Mlynn has all those sites listed. Good Luck
