I have been using it to sign up and learn about different sites beforehand. I just wanted to share an expereince. I was asked by a survey site to sign up for Vindale Research and I would get cash credited to my account for completeing the free offer. I did this. My experience with Vindale has been poor. They send you surveys to earn money but you have to buy/sign up for a product and evaluate it -all of mine indicated a credit card was required. Then if you do so they give you money --most of the time very little over the cost of obtaining the product/service. It seems like a scam to get people to purchase items they would not otherwise purchase. Plus afterwards you have to go back and cancel services or future shipments of the product in order to not continue the billing -a time consuming pain to do. Majority of the free survey offers from Crash Crate and Quizpoints are not real paid survey sites in my opinion - they are emial harvesting sites that use your email address (and other personal info you provide to them) to send you spam emails or mails. The groups generally consist of several people and a moderator who\'s job is to ask questions and get feedback. Sessions are usually 1-2 hours long but some can be all day. They pay between $50-$400 depending on subject, time, etc. You might have to try a new food a company is thinking of launching so you and others will sit there, eat, and talk in a room with a 2-way mirror. Shy is not an asset :) You may have to pick up a product, use it at home for awhile, keep a journal and then come back for the focus group. Some companies are region specific so in addition to the nationwide ones that Mlynn has listed, look for local offices in your area. Also sign up for focus groups because they sometimes want you to bring your kids in to try a new toy or food and they\'ll pay well for your time.
