My SayNation Review

SayNation is a great survey site, they have a lot of surveys, and many of the surveys are targeted for teens. Most of their surveys are pretty short and interesting. You earn points for completing every survey, and points are credited to your account immediately after you complete a survey.

I have redeemed amazon gift certificates a couple of times and I received my rewards (they emails me the amazon gift codes) in 3 days.

SayNation has a referral program, you will earn referral bonus points if your friend sign up with your referral code (they used to give points for your friend the new member too, but not anymore).

Do you recommend SayNation?

Yes, I would recommend SayNation, especially you are a teen, or you have teenager kids at home. Overall, SayNation is a great survey site, and I recommend it!

UPDATE 12/31/2011: Unfortunately SayNation has closed its door, no longer in business.:( Luckily, there are many good survey sites like SayNation – check out my lists of  best online survey sites for Teens & Kids.

Are you a member of SayNatin survey Panel? Please feel free to share your SayNation review and experience, thank you!

Yes they are closed. I also got the news a couple of days before new year…I also have some points left in my account but not enough to cash out! ๐Ÿ™ Speaking of those survey sites, you never know when they close doors.
After some searching and use of cached pages I managed to figure out the parent company was Node Research, Inc.
That company’s site has also disappeared but through a few business searches I managed to find an address and some interesting information.
Node Research’s address was an office suite and listed with only one employee, the owner.
I also found that another non-research company was listed at the same address, with the same owner (but multiple employees).

Having just one person running the site and contracting the reward system to another company, may be the reason so many people had issues with the site.

While these business sites are not always 100% accurate, most information can be trusted.

I have yet to try the listed phone number but if I have time I will likely call it tomorrow.

Talk about a bad survey company..
    Closed without even informing members.
Any ideas who the parent company was to file complaints?
Yes they are closed. I also got the news a couple of days before new year…I also have some points left in my account but not enough to cash out! ๐Ÿ™ Speaking of those survey sites, you never know when they close doors. ๐Ÿ™

  4. Update – I receive 3-5 surveys a month and qualify for 0. Not as good as it was in for me in 2010. I’m gonna cash out and then cancel my account. I haven’t had any problems with them.

I will take a look to see if I get credit. At the mean time, I would suggest you contact SayNation support regarding this. Good luck, hope you get the points soon!

  7. I cashed out for $25 paypal in April, 2010. After repeated emails to their support (where a “ticket” is opened), my only resolution is “We will have your payment within 2 weeks.” After that, they close the “ticket” and mark it as resolved, never paying me. I have opened dozens of tickets (hoping to annoy them into paying me) and still get the same response. I still get survey invitations from them but just delete them. Good luck trying to cash out.

  8. SayNation changed their policy now that you only get 25 points once a day (for trying but disqualified) no matter how many times you try to take surveys. I know…

  9. Today I tried one survey of SayNation, I was not qualitfied for the survey, the webpage I was redirected did not mention that I receive the 25 points for just participating at all. They changed their reward policy to panelists. I do not feel comfortable about this anyways.

  12. I did a survey offer 5000 points on SayNation a couple of months ago, after I successfully finish it, they said I am not qualified and only offer me 25 points. I got angry and wrote email to them to inquire. They replied me in time and said will investigate, then for long time no reply. I did not do any surveys during this time but today finally I got a reply and said I am approved the points ๐Ÿ˜› . Now I know they truly will give you a reply finally. :silly:

  13. Hi Cathy, NO I will not get any points if my referrals don’t do any surveys – according to Saynation website, my referrals have to do some surveys before BOTH me and my referral get referral points.

Second, I never ASK anyone to use my referral code, I suggest using my referral code because this will benefit not only me, but also my referrals, and I certainly will NOT coax anyone into using it. lol.

Finally, thank you for using my referral code to sign up, hopefully both you and me will get credited the referral points after you do some surveys.

  14. ๐Ÿ™ On the front page of this Site you say by using your referral code it helps us both out, meaning we both get 1200 points..I did signup using your referral code…But going to the referral section and reading..You are the only one getting the 1200 points??Is this the only way you have to get people coaxed into signing up under you?!
I am going to give SayNation this information and see what they tell me..

  16. Hi

Re referral codes. I used your referral code 0371996861 to join Say Nation but haven’t been credited. When do Say Nation and other survey sites credit referral points? FYI, I used a different email address than the one I’m using for this inquiry. Curiousity question: Does anyone get points if I just click “Join Global Test Market” for example?

Re userid. When a site requests a userid, is my real name required or can I use a made-up name or is it my choice which to use?

Re online focus groups. I’ve never participated in any kind of forums. What are the steps required to enter responses via computer? Are online focus groups easy to do?

Re Mystery Shoppers. This seems like a fun thing to do. Would anyone like to comment on the pros and cons of doing this?

Lastly, what do “do not notify/notify” and UBBCode on your site refer to?

Thank you everyone for helping me! Any additional assistance/thoughts you may have would be appreciated.

Re NFO My Survey. Please note that Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are excluded from taking their surveys.

  17. I receive 1-2 surveys a week.
I have qualified for 1-2 surveys since I joined.
If you check your account, there are usually 1-2 surveys a week on there.
You do get 25 points for not qualifying.
I havent had any problems with them.
