My Experience
HCD surveys is one of my favorite online paid survey sites. They don't send out many surveys, however their surveys pay quite well, and I do like the fact you earn 10 points if you disqualify for a survey (which is nice and fair in my opinion) They seem to have more current events and political surveys, which are interesting, easy and short. Those surveys usually involve watching a short video and giving your reaction and opinion.

You do need to react/answer HCD's surveys fast though since their surveys fill very quickly (due to the fact that surveys are interesting and pay is good.)

They use a point system, and points add up pretty quickly. Once you have 1000 points (which is quite easy to reach), you can request cash payment. They pay via check and usually take 6 weeks to receive check payment.

Other Notes
1. HCD Surveys has a referral program, where you are rewarded 75 points for referring each friend.

2. HCD Surveys no longer accept P.O. Boxes as valid address - update your mailing address if you have a PO Box, otherwise you won't receive payment check.

3. HCD Surveys also have two specialty panels for physicians and health-care professionals.

Overall I think HCD Surveys is a very good online paid survey panel, and I definitely recommend it!

Hi Tom, thank you for your feedback. As far as I know HCD is very legitimate, and I have cashed out few times. My experience is very similar to your - they do NOT send surveys regularly very month indeed. So it's true that you might not get surveys from them for a few months but be patient and I am pretty sure they will have more surveys coming up soon since 2012 is election year. ;-)

 I was very satisfied with the surveys sent to me until I got close to having enough points to be able to redeem. I got to be one survey away from being able to redeem my points and all of a sudden the surveys stopped coming to me. This was 4 months ago. I contacted them and was told the surveys are sent randomly. I don't accept this as I was getting quite a few surveys every month and now none for over 4 months. This is very suspicious to me.

Update - I receive 1-2 surveys a month and qualify for 0-1 of them, not as many surveys for me as it was in 2010. I haven't had any problems with them.

I signed up and tried to send a message to them. It looks like their messaging is down. I get a 500 internal error page.

Update - I receive 1-3 surveys a month. I qualify for 0-1 surveys. Their surveys are unique as they deal with whats going on in the media. I havent had any problems with them or receiving the check.
