Planet-Surveys.com scam or spam

Plant Surveys (planet-surveys.com) is another site requiring you to pay a membership fee ($29.95) to access their survey company list/directory/database.  Like always, I would recommend anyone NOT to pay to join any of those membership site. As for them, here is what they say on their website:

“Planet Surveys is an online marketing research organization . We help companies that want to hear your opinion find you, listen to you, and compensate you for the time  you  spend  helping them improve. Our members earn $300 to $550 per week by taking on-line   surveys,  participating  in virtual  focus  group  discussions,  and testing   new   products,   websites  and  services! —“

There are two problems here:

First, they are not a marketing research organization – market research companies do not charge members any fees!

Second: Nobody can make $300 to $550 per week, it is just too good to be true!

Planet Survey is not being truthful about how much money you can make taking paid online surveys, they are making it sounds too good just want you to pay their membership fee! NO, you don’t need to pay anybody to get information on paid surveys.

  1. Hi A and Sidney,

    Thanks for sharing your feedback!

And I agree with you A on “why I should pay to join when no other job would make me pay to take the position”!

  2. Luckily the one time I decided to try a paid survey site with a membership fee, I received a full refund after requesting one, when I realized the site was bogus. Chances are this site is no less bogus.

  3. I started getting e-mails from them, asking my to join. Of course they don’t say anything about that membership fee. Ever since I found out it’s a scam I’ve started messing with their heads, asking how they got my e-mail (their answer makes no sense to me) and why I should pay to join when no other job would make me pay to take the position. We’ll see what they do!

  4. Has anyone actually used their service. I worked in marketing research for about 6 years and the fee does seem a little fishy to me; however, I can also see administration fees for providing all of the info to one source (e.g., me or you). Maybe someone has actually had success with them?

    Thx!

  5. I agree. This sounds like a scam to me. I wouldn’t pay the $30.00 membership fee. If they need people tp participate them membership should be free.
