Paid Survey Tips & Notes:

Best Paid Survey Sites USA#1. You may notice that there aren’t hundreds of survey sites on this list – this is because I only list those legit and good survey sites that legitimate and worth joining. Notice that all survey panels listed here pay members either cash and/or gift cards and/or prizes (in other words, no sweepstakes only survey sites), and many of them have high paying focus groups and product testing opportunities.

#2. I suggest you sign up with all the survey sites listed here or as many as you feel comfortable – because the more survey sites you belong to, the more surveys you will receive.

#3. It is a time consuming process signing up with all the survey panels and fill out detailed panel profiles – I recommend you join all the survey panels and fill out the basic profile first, then go back to each panel and fill out additional and more details panel profiles.

#4. I add legitimate new survey sites whenever I find them. I also review and update this list at least once a month to make sure all survey sites listed here are still active and all links are working.

Sometimes the links might not direct you to the desired survey sites, that’s because oftentimes the survey panel membership quotas run out during or at the end of the month. You can come back at the beginning of the month and try to sign up again.

Please feel free to drop me a comment if know any good legit survey panels not listed here or you find any broken links or any survey sites that are “dead” and should be removed from the list, thank you!

I have been taking online surveys for over 10 years. I still think it’s a great way to extra cash online since it’s free, legitimate and quite easy.  I hope you find this survey site listing helpful!  Pleas share it with family and friends or anyone you know who are interested in earning extra money by taking survey online , and feel free to leave your comments, suggestions or any questions about paid surveys!

Most of the surveys enter you into these sweepstakes and I was curious if anyone has won even a small prize? Thanks!
no
Actually Laurie, YES, People DO WIN sweepstakes. I personally only won a couple of small referral contests, but quite a few of mysurvey123 members have won at several survey sites, such as SurveySpot (see this thread (http://mysurvey123.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=103&func=view&id=1890&catid=13))…

Some of these sites are exclusive to Moms with young children. Also sign up for focus groups because they sometimes want you to bring your kids in to try a new toy or food and they’ll pay well for your time. Also, don’t forget to visit the freebie sites and word of mouth sites for tons of free samples. Mlynn has all those sites listed. Good Luck

  12. Signed up with CashCrate today. Yes you are flooded with offers, but can choose to do the surveys. You can earn 80 cents per survey and take 2 surveys in 24 hrs. They even have bonus surveys worth 75 cents. There is a catch however. First you have to qualify for a survey, then, if you qualify and take the survey, you have to see if you indeed qualified to earn the 80 or 75 cents. If not they invite you to continue until you do qualify. I completed 5 long surveys and never qualified for the 80 or 75 cents. A lot of time wasted, so gave up and cancelled my membership on same day I signed up.

  15.
Hi, I’m sort of new to this and was wondering does these surveys get to your 1040??
This is one of those questions that needs to be prefaced with “Check with your accountant” (as if we all have one). This is my opinion for what it’s worth: The short answer is NO. My understanding is that you are considered an independent contractor and thus your income is not taxed. If you’re paid at least $600 by any one company, you should receive a 1099 form from that company. With one or two exceptions your ss# is never known so there isn’t a direct link to your earnings. I’m sure many people report this income in good faith but I’m also sure many do not.

I’m so glad I came across your site of survey companies, especially the reviews and comments written about them. Now I know why I’m not making any money, I have been doing too many of the “unsafe” surveys. Thank you so much for this site. I know I’ll be back!

  22. A focus group is an in-person discussion and interview of participants. The groups generally consist of several people and a moderator who’s job is to ask questions and get feedback. Sessions are usually 1-2 hours long but some can be all day. They pay between $50-$400 depending on subject, time, etc. You might have to try a new food a company is thinking of launching so you and others will sit there, eat, and talk in a room with a 2-way mirror. Shy is not an asset 🙂 You may have to pick up a product, use it at home for awhile, keep a journal and then come back for the focus group. Some companies are region specific so in addition to the nationwide ones that Mlynn has listed, look for local offices in your area.

I tried to get a pay pal account through a credit card via internet but I could not qualify because of my bad credit and loans.
Not every survey company is write for every one. I try not to wqaist my time on paypal surveys.

  26. Okay, I removed OpinionBar from the list. I got a $1 survey from OpinionBar recently, was wondering should I take the survey. Thanks you guys for letting me know the potential danger!

    Reply
  27. With Opinion Bar, you rate other sites and as part of the surveys you will be redirected to the site you are evaluating in a new window.
So, I think they will never be able to say they are 100% secure because they can’t guarantee that the partner sites they are having you evaluate would be secure, that would be up to that company having the research done.

    Reply
  28. Hi, just wanted to warn you that you might want to consider taking Opinion Bar off the list. I signed up with them, tried to take a survey, but my security settings told me that the network they are on is not secure. I did further research and found that other people were having similar issues as well as problems with payment. They might be legit, but it seems as though they have been hacked. At any rate, I don’t think it’s safe to use at this time.

I really like them because even if you dont qualify they have a little game, which is typically worth 25 points.

  39. Hi Betty, I registered with them over almost 4 years ago – I don’t remember installing any software (maybe I did but I couldn’t remember). I don’t receive many surveys from them – maybe because I didn’t install their software?? 😮 Anyway I haven’t heard anyone complaining about their software, but if you don’t feel comfortable about installing it, I would suggest just skip them.

  41. Hi Betty, I am not sure what’s wrong with SurveyExchange. It seems they have a new system which is not working (couldn’t register), and I tried to login and they said they can’t find my user name! 🙁 This is not the first time that SurveyExchange has this kind of problem – last time they changed their company name (I couldn’t remember their old name) and they lost some old member’s accounts. Now this time they lost mine. I couldn’t remember how much I have left in my account but I am sure it’s less than minimum payout.

  46. I almost gave up on Survey Spot because I was only getting non-paying surveys. But I kept doing them and then all of sudden they started rolling in. Online focus groups for $20-$30 for an hours time, paid surveys between $1-$5 (sometimes a few a day) and products for testing. My teenager gets lots of paid surveys. It’s not always like this but I make money at least once a week.
